Launching Ayurveda as a preferred practice of The Remedy

The Remedy Project has been a labor of love.

We began this journey on our spare time, adding piece by piece over time, following Curtis’ direct experience of what it takes to get well and stay that way.

We have explored many avenues on the road to complete wellness, not only for individuals but for our communities as well.

Right now, we are continuing to shape this vision, as time and resources allow, and feel that we are on the verge of truly going “live.”

Over the course of the last year, our family has been searching for ways to foster a message of healing the whole self… body, mind, heart and spirit.

There are so many beautiful alternatives to the default choices that we all currently make, that it can be difficult to come down to earth sometimes…to make the concrete decisions necessary to give solid advice and support to our community.

That’s why, on the subject of physical wellness, we are proud to announce our decision to promote the ancient medical practice of Ayurveda.

Although we promote any and all alternative healing modalities that have proven effective, we have decided to root ourselves in certain core practices for each of the gateways.

The decision to highlight Ayurveda is the first of those decisions.

Here’s why:

  • Ayurvedic technology is thousands of years old

  • It has been the healing modality of choice for literally billions of people through millennia

  • It focuses on preventative interventions that are gentle and natural

  • It understands and respects the links between body, mind, heart and spirit

  • It’s remedies are from the earth and do not rely on exotic chemistry

  • It supports a lifestyle rooted in so much of what we advocate for here at The Remedy, we think it’s a natural fit.

That’s what Sanath, one of our partners, had in mind on a recent trip to his home country of India, the seat of Ayurveda. He was visiting Mudabidri, which translated literally means East Bamboo.

With its average temperature of about 80 degrees all year long and rainy summers, it is a tropical paradise that supports not only its famous bamboo forests but just about anything else that grows, as well.

He had come to reach out... to meet an organic grower of traditional Ayurvedic plant medicines, one of the best in the country. He flew halfway around the world to discuss offering these beautiful and effective products to The Remedy community.

These products are completely organic with certified potencies. They are grown and prepared to exacting standards. It was not certain that enough product would be available... or that this grower would decide to work with us. But it happened!

Sanath was successful and The Remedy has entered into a new collaboration with our Indian partners to bring an extensive line of Ayurvedic herbal remedies to the US.

We are very excited to work with our brothers and sisters in Mudabidri and proud to offer these products to our community.

Please come back and visit often to keep abreast of this new offering! We should have some amazing products on our shelves soon to help you restore and maintain perfect health!

Love and Light!
